To my many friends,
Something happened in my life on Veteran’s Day that made me realize why I have lived in this area for almost fifty years, and will continue to live here.
Galen Larson, who for many years helped me with the Kensington Veteran’s Day broadcast, showed up at my front door with sandwiches and those one and only beans. After over forty years of broadcasting the event and enjoying the sandwiches and beans, Galen thought I should have another taste treat. With my Sports Talk Show, it might have been a tight fit, so I elected to miss this year’s event. Galen brought it to me. It’s things like this that make this part of the country a great place to live.
Through my years of broadcasting, health recovery and my new internet programs, I cherish all the sincere and many relationships I’ve enjoyed. It is an extraordinary place to live and will continue to be.
Galen’s special trip to Phillipsburg to deliver the good wishes and food, only reinforces my regard for this area.
Thank you for the many happy and meaningful years.
