Defensively the Lady Panthers performed well, but it just wasn’t enough to contain the Cardinals. Led by Coach Rachel Miller, she commented, “I was proud of our team for the way the girls competed in the first game back after Christmas. They outscored Plainville in the second to erase an early double digit deficit after the opening quarter. It was a game of runs back and forth the second half. Poor free throw shooting again plagued us matched with some untimely turnovers. The Lady Panthers will look to get their first win of 2018 when they travel to face Smith Center Tuesday, January 9th.”

The Lady Redmen are 7-0 on the year and 3-0 in league play on the year. Good luck, Lady Panthers!
