In a close play at the net, junior Kelcee Braun tips the ball over the net against a Bulldog defender. The Trojans played their best game of the night against Golden Plains, but just couldn't hang on to the finish. The Trojans lost 22-25 and 16-25.

The Logan Lady Trojans opened their season by hosting their only home matches of the year on Tuesday, Aug. 28. Seniors Brianna Pinkerton and Elsie Prather were recognized for their 4 years of involvement in the volleyball program.

Coach's Comments: The first night out is always a little scattered and then when you add the fact that it is a home match and senior night, there are that many more things to get in line. Ness City is a quality team who put us back on our heals a bit and I was very proud to see that we didn't fold, but instead continued to get better and more relaxed as the night went on. We will see the 2 league school multiple times though the year and it will be fun to watch how each grows and changes.
In the last match of the night, junior Harlee Voss serves 5 for 5 for 100% accuracy against Golden Plains. Harlee also tallied 16 attacks and 25 sets during the game.
