On January 13, the Logan FFA transformed the school’s wood shop and classroom into a vibrant space of creativity and connection for its third annual Ladies’ Night Out Woods Event.

This year, nine participants gathered for an evening filled with hands-on learning, laughter, and the joy of crafting. The event began with a delicious meal prepared by the Food Science classes, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the stage for an enjoyable evening.

After dinner, attendees participated in a brief safety presentation before diving into their woodworking projects. Each participant had the option to create a wooden Christmas tree or a wooden church, with guidance provided by five current welding students and two former students. Together, they explored various woodworking techniques in a supportive and encouraging environment.

The event was filled with lively conversation, shared accomplishments, and plenty of laughs, as both students and attendees embraced the creative challenge. It served as a wonderful opportunity to highlight the skills and dedication of Logan’s talented students while strengthening ties within the community.

By the end of the evening, each participant walked away with not only a beautifully handcrafted decoration but also memories of an engaging and rewarding experience. The Ladies’ Night Out Woods Event continues to be a great example of Logan FFA’s commitment to education, skill-building, and fostering community connections.

Both students and attendees had a fun night together.
