The Logan-Palco football team traveled to Stockton for their season opener on Friday, Sept. 6.
The Trojans took the early lead and continued to put points on the scoreboard. The Tigers never gave up in the game, and fought hard to the end. The Trojans went on to win 46-0.
Senior Mayson Vahling rushed for 101 yards and 1 touchdown, while senior Rhett Kats rushed for two TD's and added a pick 6. Senior Caleb Sparks and junior Case Ashmore each earned touchdown receptions.
Sparks also dominated the defensive side of the ball with 6 tackles and a quarterback sack. Ashmore added 4 tackles. Sophomore Taden Gottschalk intercepted a pass and gained 72 yards on 2 kickoff returns.
