Phillipsburg wrestling captures regional runner up

On Feb. 22, the Panther wrestlers competed at the 321A regionals in Hoisington. The team faced difficult competition and fought their way to the leaderboard. The team scored 155 points and secured second place at the tournament. Winning the tournament was Russell with 162 points.

The team had seven boys moving on to the state tournament: Kaden Sisson (132), Hunter Sisson (138), Seth Keeten (144), Cole Keeten (150), Blake Buresh (157), Kayden Hudson (175) and Jaden Boyle (285). This year the 321A state tournament was moved back to Hays and will start on Friday, Feb. 28.
