NV takes seventh at Quinter Jr. High Meet

On April 26 the Northern Valley Junior High track team traveled to Quinter to compete in the 43^nd annual Quinter Jr High Track Meet with 15 other schools. The Huskies gave it all they had on a cool, wet, windy day in western Kansas. The NV junior high boys placed 7^th as a team with 36 points against some tough competition. The Husky relay teams ran well, placing 3^rd in the 4x100 and 2^nd in the 4x200. Tait Thalheim had a PR in the triple jump, placing 2^nd with a jump of 32’ 10”. Griffin McKinney ran well in the 200 hurdles placing 2^nd with a time of 30.7
