Phillipsburg Cross Country teams compete at Webster Lake

The Phillipsburg High School Panther Cross Country Team competed in the Stockton Invitational on Sept. 12. The meet was held at the Coyote Trail at Webster Lake. Senior Hannah Walker earned a medal with a 4th place (36:49) finish in the JV race.

Freshmen Brayden King and Miles Krom both brought home medals. Brayden finished in 7th place (31:11) and Miles in 8th place (37:22), both in the JV race.

The Panthers will travel to Smith Center to compete on Sept. 19.

The Phillipsburg Middle School Cross Country team competed in the Stockton Invitational on Sept. 12. The meet was held at the Coyote Trail at Webster Lake.

Julia Walker placed 5th in the 7th grade 2 mile with a 19:19, good enough to earn her a medal.

Eighth grade runner Roger Riedel placed 9th (17:53) in the 2 mile.

The Panthers will travel to Smith Center on Sept. 19.
