Phillipsburg advances one tennis player to state meet

The 3-1A Regional Tennis Meet was held in Ellsworth on Thursday, May 2 and Friday, May 3. Phillipsburg finished the meet in sixth place as a team and had one individual qualify for the state meet.

Junior Nathan Fischer went 3-1 on the day at the number one singles spot to finish fifth in the tournament and move on to state.

State competition will begin on Friday, May 10 at Prairie Village Harmon Park Tennis Complex in Prairie Village, KS.
