The Logan FFA hosted its third annual Ladies’ Night Out Welding Event on November 15th in the school’s welding shop and classroom. This year’s event welcomed eight participants who enjoyed an evening of learning, laughter, and hands-on experience.

The evening kicked off with a delicious meal prepared by the Food Science and Ag Science classes, setting the stage for a fun and engaging night. Following dinner, the ladies attended a brief safety presentation before heading into the shop to create their own metal flower yard decorations.

Guided by seven current welding students and two former students, the participants had the opportunity to learn MIG welding techniques in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Both students and attendees embraced the challenge, sharing laughs and celebrating their achievements throughout the evening. The event provided a unique opportunity to showcase the skills of Logan’s welding students while fostering community connections.

Everyone left with not only a beautiful handmade decoration that was designed by Kaden Graham, but also memories of a night filled with learning, camaraderie, and fun.
