Logan 7th Grade Scholars Bowl Team: Helen Prewo, Kinley VanDerVeen, Tucker Ellenberger, Gunnar Ashmore and Henry States.

The Logan Junior High Scholars Bowl team traveled to Heartland Christian in Colby on Monday, Jan. 20.

The 8th graders played 7 other teams: Golden Plains, Grinnell, Weskan, Western Plains, Cheylin, Triplains and Heartland Christian. Their record for the day was 5-2. They were in a three-way tie for 2nd with Cheylin and Golden Plains. In order to break the tie, they had to go by total points accrued throughout the day. Logan ended up bringing home 4th.

The 7th grade played 6 other teams: Golden Plains, Grinnell, Weskan, Western Plains, Triplains and Heartland Christian. Their record for the day was 5-1. They tied for 1st place with Western Plains and Heartland Christian, but having beat both of those teams during play, Logan brought home 1st place.

The 8th grade placings were: Heartland Christian 1st. Cheylin, Golden Plains and Logan tied for 2nd (with Cheylin bringing home 2nd, Golden Plains 3rd, Logan 4th). Grinnell 5th, Weskan 6th, Triplains 7th and Western Plains 8th.

The 7th grade placings were: Logan, Heartland Christian, Western Plains tied for 1st (with Heartland Christian getting 2nd in the end and Western Plains getting 3rd). Weskan and Golden Plains tied for 4th and 5th, Grinnell 6th and Triplains 7th.
