Phillipsburg JH Football continues to dominate

On Thursday, Sep. 16, the Phillipsburg Junior High football team hosted the Colby Eagles. The Panthers swept the Colby Eagles with a final score of 42-0.

Offensively, QB Kolton Wilkison had two touchdowns, with a total of 34 rushing yards on the night. Colby Myers also had a productive night with 114 yards and only eight carries, including his 60 yard run for a touchdown. The Panthers had a total of 226 rushing yards with a total of four rushing touchdowns and two passing touchdowns. Seventh grader Jack Seems had a major impact on the game as well. Seems had two receiving touchdowns for a total of 54 yards adding to the win.

Leading the panther defense this week, Chasen Shields had the most tackles with two. Adding to the defense, Kason Wisinger, Colby Myers, Kanon Bilbrey, Bryson Shaw, Lane Gower and Sandro Bein ended the night each with a tackle.

The Panthers will travel to Plainville on Thursday, Oct. 3 to match up with the Cardinals.
