Solida just misses medal round at state tennis tournament

Sophomore Valorie Solida traveled to Wichita to compete in the 3A-1A State Tennis Tournament on Friday, Oct. 18 and Saturday, Oct. 19.

Solida won her first singles match 6-3 and 6-4.

Losing her second match, Solida pushed to win her third match against Aurora Nowlin with a score of 6-3 and 6-1.

Just shy of receiving a medal, Solida lost her final match against Hannah Vague of Ellsworth with a score of 5-7 and
3-6, thus ending her state run.
