Panther Junior High dominates TMP

On Thursday, Sept. 19, the Phillipsburg Junior High football team hosted the TMP Monarchs at home. The mighty Panthers squashed the TMP Monarchs with a final score of 30-8.

Offensively, QB Kolton Wilkison had two rushing touchdowns, with a total of 72 rushing yards on the night. Colby Myers also had a productive night with 93 yards and only twelve carries, including his 26 yard run for a touchdown.

The Panthers had a total of 236 rushing yards with a total of four touchdowns. Adding to the win and Panther offense, 7th grader, Jack Seems, had a receiving catch for 43 yards.

Defense machine Lane Gower, leading the Panthers, ended the night with three tackles. Adding to the defense, Kolton had two tackles and Rhett Ames also with two tackles. Many other panthers contributed to their total tackles with twelve. The Panthers also had two interceptions.
