The annual Logan FFA Greenhand Chili Feed and Labor Auction was a resounding success, bringing together over 120 community members for an evening of food, fellowship, and fundraising. The event, held at Logan City Building, featured the induction of the new Greenhands into the Logan FFA chapter, as well as the auctioning of labor hours contributed by the FFA members.

The night kicked off with the Greenhands, the newest members of Logan FFA, reciting the FFA Creed. Each Greenhand was officially inducted into the organization and proudly received their Greenhand pins, marking the beginning of their journey in agricultural education. The students did an outstanding job delivering the creed, impressing the audience with their confidence and poise.

Guests enjoyed a delicious meal of homemade chili and cinnamon rolls, all prepared by the FFA members. The food was a hit, providing a warm and hearty treat for all in attendance.

Cody Miller served as the auctioneer for the evening, keeping the energy high as he auctioned off 177 hours of labor, which will be used for various community service projects and tasks. The auction was a key part of the event, raising funds to support the chapter’s activities and initiatives throughout the year.

The night was filled with excitement, and the students did a fantastic job running the meeting, showcasing their leadership skills. The Greenhands, in particular, impressed everyone with their excellent performance in reciting the creed, making it clear they are ready to take on new challenges and contribute to the FFA community.

Overall, the Greenhand Chili Feed and Labor Auction was a memorable event that highlighted the hard work and dedication of the Logan FFA members. With a great turnout and enthusiastic participation, the evening was a true success for the chapter and the entire community.Addison Green-Russell the NW District President was also able to join us and help serve the chili and support the Logan FFA Chapter.
