Logan Junior High competes in the Cheylin Scholars Bowl

The Logan Junior High competed in the Cheylin Scholars Bowl meet on Monday, Dec. 9. The 8th graders won 4 matches with one loss and took 2nd. Members of the team were: Clay Grammon, John Sparks, Jeffery Bliss and Weston Ruff. Not pictured were Wyatt Green and Keegan Breese. (Image 0879)

The 7th grade team won 4 matches and lost 2 which tied them for 3rd. Members of the team were: Kinley VanDerVeen, Helen Prewo, Tucker Ellenberger, Gunnar Ashmore, Henry States and Tobin Kats.

8th grade placings were: Cheylin/Logan tied for 1st/2nd (with Cheylin bringing home 1st as Logan lost in the head-to-head match), Heartland Christian/Rawlins County tied for 3/4 (with Heartland Christian bringing home 3rd), Golden Plains 5th, Weskan 6th.

7th grade placings were: Wallace County 1st, Logan/Heartland Christian tied for 2/3 (Heartland Christian bringing home 2nd as Logan lost in the head-to-head match), Weskan 4th, Golden Plains 5th, Cheylin 6th, Rawlins County 7th.
