PHS Forensics team places second at two more tournaments
The Phillipsburg High School forensics team competed at two tournaments this week. On Tuesday, the team traveled to Colby and finsihed second of 11 teams, and on Saturday, the team competed at Rexford and placed second out of 12 teams. Norton, the defending 3A State Champions, placed first in both of those tournaments.
"Our team has done really well in our first three meets of the year, and I'm excited to see how we can continue to improve," PHS Coach Kim Pakkebier said. "We have another tournament coming up this Saturday (Feb. 8th) in Norton where I'm hoping we can qualify some more entries to state competition. The strong start we've had to this season is really encouraging."
